Here at play! we aim to give you and your children the best play experience possible. we have built a great reputation for customer service, cleanliness and safety. Our fully trained staff are on hand to monitor safe play but you are responsible for the supervision of your children at all times.
Company history
Play! opened its doors in December 2004, offering the families in the area a new and exciting venue for play and parties. We have built up a great reputation based on excellent customer service, cleanliness and hygiene, good food and well run and fun parties.
Despite having to close for some months because of the fire in November 2007 we will come back bigger and even better than before!

Kathryn Wayman
Kathryn forged out a successful career in advertising in London after graduating in French and Spanish but always wanted to move back to Oldham, where she grew up.
Setting up a play centre in Royton allowed her to fill the gap in the market in the area for a good quality, exciting and well run play centre.
Kathryn is most likely to be found clearing tables, making toasties and generally ensuring the smooth running of each day.
When not at play! she likes to go swimming, to the cinema and theatre, has recently become addicted to box sets, and is working her way through The Sopranos!
Darrell Kattenhorn
Darrell is an engineer by trade but is an expert in all things DIY.
He is most likely to be found with a spanner in his hand, maintaining the play equipment and building to the high standard you have come to expect.
He has recently qualified as an assistant diving instructor and can be found most weekends shivering in his wet suit at the side of a lake!
