Children must be under 4’ 10” (148 cm) and under 12 years old to enter the play area.
Children & adults must adhere to the rules of play advertised in the facility.
Children must be supervised by an adult or guardian at all times. Children must never be left alone in the building, or the police will be notified.
Staff only supervise the correct use of the equipment and cannot take responsibility for children.
Children/young adults between the age of twelve and seventeen are not permitted on the equipment to supervise younger children.
Children especially those under 5, may be accompanied by an adult (over 18 yrs old) in a supportive role, or if the child is in difficulty.
Adults are not allowed to play on any of the equipment.
For hygiene and safety reasons socks must be worn at all times, by both children & adults. Long sleeves and trousers are required for safe play, no shoes are allowed in the play system. Remove all sharp or hard items such as watches, and belt buckles before play.
When using the slide please keep your arms folded at all times, It is recommended that arms and legs are covered when using the slide, no trains - make sure the person in front has reached the bottom before you set off, always sit down, face forward & never climb up the slide!
Only food and drink purchased at can be consumed in the areas provided.
Chewing gum is not permitted in any area.
Bullying and anti social behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated in any way. Offenders will be asked to leave the premises.
Fire doors must remain clear at all times.
The kitchen closes for food orders one hour before our advertised closing time.
Any individual suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs will be asked to leave the premises.
No party poppers or silly string allowed.
Seating restrictions do not apply during private hire or exclusive use of the facility.
A £50 none-refundable deposit is required for parties. Payment is expected in full prior to leaving the facility on the day of the child’s birthday party. If however the invoice is not paid, and we are unable to establish contact with you, Play Oldham Ltd reserves the right to charge interest at the rate prescribed by the Late Payment of Commercial Debt (Interest) Act 1998 from the date payment was due until the date payment is made. If after 30 days the invoice remains unpaid, Play Oldham Ltd will serve notice that it intends to take legal action to obtain any monies owed.
If extra sweets/gifts are provided by the parent/guardian for placement in the party bags/boxes provided by they must be of a size and quantity that can reasonably be expected to fit.
Ten minutes before end of the party an announcement is made indicating that the children should exit the equipment and prepare for departure (shoes, coats, etc) We then encourage the birthday child to hand each one of his/her guests a party bags.
We cannot be held responsible for any food or drink products not purchased from, or supplied by play!
We cannot be held responsible for the loss, damage or theft of any personal property during your time at play!
We cannot accept liability for damage to vehicles or loss of valuables through theft whilst on site. Cars are parked at the owner’s risk.
If you are unhappy about any aspect during your visit, please highlight your concern to a senior member of staff before the end of session. We will endeavour to rectify any issues you may have promptly.
